EHS Excellence


Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients sets high standards for Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), often offering more protection than that required by local regulations. We practice Responsible Care®; this initiative, specifically designed for the chemical industry, provides guidelines on various aspects of EHS that are adhered to by most leading global industrial chemical businesses. To further support our commitment to EHS, we meet the global standards for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Warehousing facilities in the region are designed and managed under strict EHS guidelines. For example, all of our warehousing facilities in the region have firewalls installed with intelligently designed drains to prevent possible chemical leakage and contamination of the environment. Sprinkler systems and eyewash stations are readily available for use in emergency situations, and the daily safety routine ensures all staff use personal protection equipment (PPE).

Regulatory Compliance

With our local, responsible and responsive Regulatory Affairs teams in each country that we serve, we help manage the risk and challenges imposed by fluctuating local and federal laws and regulations.

Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients fully complies with local and international requirements before any product or sample order can be created. This ensures our business activities remain compliant at all times. Each new product or sample is checked in several areas as part of our risk assessment. For example, products will be checked for regulatory compliance under material classification, import and export permits or licenses, storage, transport, and capabilities for emergency response. This process forms part of our duty under Responsible Care©, helping to reduce risk to people and the environment and supporting our business’ sustainable growth.

Logistics Capabilities


In recent years, the challenges in global logistics have escalated due to the pandemic and fluctuations in supply and demand. Responding to the ever-increasing needs of our customers and principals, we work closely with our global logistics network to fulfil those needs. Our transparent SAP system and local supply chain teams support each other to fulfil local customer inquiries and deliver products in full and on time.

Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients began developing global logistic capabilities in 2009 and we continue to grow our capabilities from our home region of South East Asia to the world beyond. Our recent projects include coordinating chemical bulk consignments, developing an order management system interface (EDI), working with our third-party logistics partners to improve their processes and services, and designing processes for the blend & repack of feed products.
