JebChem 8740 AQ
JebChem 8740 AQ is a Polymeric Dispersant for organic pigments in water-based coatings. It reduces mill base viscosity for better dispersion and allows high pigment loading. It is suitable for making water-based binder free pigment pastes and inks. It is low foaming and provides good gloss in high gloss water-based paints.

Recommended Use
Organic and carbon black pigments in water borne systems
Test Method
Prepare pigment concentration paste as formulation. Grinding the paste with high-speed shaker and glass bead (80% of the paste), grinding time for 1.5hr.
Determine basic wet paint properties

- and viscosity of the paste
Determine colour shade
- Tint 1% paste in commercial base A for “Reduced shade”
- Tint 5% paste in commercial base D for “Full shade”

Conclusion
JebChem 8740AQ shows very promising results with improved grinding performance, reduced viscosity, providing excellent color strength – both full shade and reduce shade are better than commercial COM 2774.
