Event Overview
On 21 May, Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Vietnam hosted a technical seminar in collaboration with our key principal, Bionest, under the theme: “Maximizing Sunscreen Potential with Active Skincare Ingredients.”
Held at the Grand Mercure Hotel in Hanoi, the event welcomed professionals from the personal care industry for an in-depth look at modern sun care and skincare solutions. The session included opening remarks from our senior management (Khun Supaporn M. and Khun Ratana V.), followed by in-depth presentations by Bionest’s Mr. Javier Perez (Global Business Director) and Ms. Debra Tung (Asia Pacific Sales Director).
Highlights from the Seminar
Attendees explored the science behind SPF boosters and the role of active ingredients in enhancing sunscreen and skincare formulations. A popular highlight was the interactive prototype station, where guests tested sample formulations and experienced the performance of Bionest’s leading ingredients:

Several attendees noted that the seminar came at exactly the right time, aligning with their current formulation work in sun care. One participant shared that the live discussions helped clarify technical concepts that were difficult to fully grasp from documents alone. Another mentioned that the insights gained would be useful in helping their team finalize upcoming sunscreen projects. Many also found the content especially relevant given the seasonal market demand, and appreciated the focus on practical application.
