OUR HISTORY

125+ Years of Jebsen & Jessen

Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients, formerly Jebsen & Jessen Chemicals, is part of the Jebsen & Jessen Group headquartered in Singapore. The chemicals business has been a core business unit of the group’s history since it was founded in 1963. As a chemicals distribution specialist we expanded from the initial two markets of Singapore and Malaysia to Thailand and Indonesia in the 1970s, Vietnam and the Philippines in the 1990s and further into the region from 2011 onwards. With a growing need to offer a diverse portfolio of both speciality chemicals and ingredients for food, agribusiness and pharmaceuticals, we expanded our business and portfolio by acquiring Helm Mahaboon in 2010. In 2015, we changed our name to Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients to better suit our broad offerings spanning more than 100 supplier partners across seven business lines.

    In September 2016, Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients inaugurated three regional lab-scale innovation centres in Thailand, for Food, Personal Care, and Coating industries
