JebChem 5604 is a Gemini surfactant with excellent substrate-wetting properties, especially dynamic wetting. JebChem 5604 is suitable for water-based coatings and printing inks. It has defoaming, anti-crater and pigment-wetting properties.

Surface tension value
This table shows the surface tension value of emulsion resin that was incorporated with JEBCHEM 5604, JebChem 5204, and competitor versus blank. JEBCHEM 5604 shows the BEST surface tension reduction. It can reduce surface tension value better than JebChem 5204 and competitor.
Wetting performance on WAX coated paper
This illustration shows dynamic wetting performance that was evaluated by applying wet paint on wax and silicone coated substrate. Test method used wax paper as difficult substrate to coat with water due to the high contact angle. It was observed that JebChem 5604 provided the BEST wettability on wax paper compared to the competitor and other JebChem substrate wetting additive.
